Kryptnet Privacy Policy

Kryptnet is a privacy related service and therefore we treat Privacy very seriously. This document details important information regarding the use and disclosure of User Data collected when accessing the Kryptnet.com web site as well as when using the Kryptnet VPN service.

Data Collected

  • Subscribers using the Kryptnet VPN service will not have their IP address or any other information, such as websites visited, recorded or logged.
  • Visitors to the Kryptnet.com web site.
    • Personal Information:
      • Visitors to the kryptnet.com web site can browse the site without taking out a subscription or registering with the site, and without any personal information being collected or processed. Kryptnet uses the Google Analytics service for the purposes of analysing visits to the Kryptnet.com web site. Visitors' IP addresses will not be recorded by the Kryptnet.com web site, but will be recorded by Google Analytics for the purposes of analysing visitor traffic.
      • Subscribers may be asked for credit card details or other payment processing details. This information is neither collected nor processed on Kryptnet servers but on third party secure servers owned and operated by reputable financial intermediaries.
      • Users of the Kryptnet VPN Service may have personal information collected by other sites or services visited or used while connected to the Kryptnet VPN service. Kryptnet is not responsible for personal information collected by third-parties while connected to the Kryptnet VPN service.
    • Cookies:

      When you visit kryptnet.com, we may send one or more cookies (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_cookie for a description) to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser session. Kryptnet.com uses both session cookies and persistent cookies for session management.

      Users of the Kryptnet VPN service may be sent cookies by other sites or services visited or used while connected to the Kryptnet VPN service. Kryptnet is not responsible for cookies sent by third-parties while connected to the Kryptnet VPN service.

      Log File Information:

      Kryptnet does not keep logs of visits to the Kryptnet.com web site. Kryptnet does not keep logs of uses of the Kryptnet VPN service. Kryptnet uses the third-party Google Analytics service to analyse visits to the Kryptnet.com web site. When you visit kryptnet.com, the Google Analytics service will automatically record certain information that your web browser sends such as your web request, IP address, browser type, browser language, referring URL, platform type, domain names and the date and time of your request.

    • Emails: If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

Uses

  • Your IP address is used to demonstrate to you how easily available the information is and how it can help locate your geographical location.
  • We do not use your email address or other personally identifiable information to send commercial or marketing messages without your consent.
  • We may use your email address without further consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of key service changes or for customer service purposes).
  • We analyse aggregated kryptnet.com visitor traffic information to help optimise our marketing operations and to improve the quality of the kryptnet user experience.

Disclosure of Information

  • Kryptnet may release data if under a duty to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our Terms Of Use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property or safety of Kryptnet or Kryptnet subscribers or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations including the police and governmental authorities for the purposes of protection against fraud or any other kind of illegal activity whether or not identified in the Terms Of Use. It is Kryptnet’s policy, whenever possible and legally permissible, to promptly notify you upon an obligation to supply data to any third party.
  • We may share non-personally-identifiable information (such as anonymous User usage data, referring / exit pages and URLs, platform types, number of clicks, etc.) with interested third-parties to assist them in understanding the usage patterns for certain content, services, advertisements, promotions, and/or functionality of Kryptnet.com.

Security

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen a password) which enables you to access the Kryptnet service, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

Whilst Krypnet uses powerful encryption technology, vulnerabilities exist in the transmission of information via the Internet, such as key capture, which Kryptnet does not protect against. Kryptnet significantly improves your security and privacy but we cannot warrant the security of all your information and you access the Internet at your own risk.

In the Event of Merger or Sale

In the event Kryptnet is acquired by or merged with a third party, we reserve the right, in any of these circumstances, to transfer or assign the information we have collected from our Users as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control.
